Privacy Policy and Terms of Use
HOCHTIEF would like to make it as easy as possible for you to present yourself as an interesting applicant. Therefore, we offer you the possibility of applying online. In this connection, we place particular importance on the protection of your personal data and on compliance with the applicable data protection law provisions. Personal data which are stored in the CV database (“database”) are only processed in line with the regulations of this Privacy Policy and are treated as strictly confidential. The stipulations of the EU General Data Protection Regulation2016/679 (“GDPR”) and all other relevant data protection laws are fully complied with. We will not sell or pass on your personal data to third parties.
Personal data within the meaning of the GDPR and this Privacy Policy are all information by which you can be identified or by which you are identifiable. This includes, in particular, your name, your e-mail address, your address or your telephone number.
I. Person responsible
HOCHTIEF Infrastructure GmbH Tyskland Sverige Filial, is responsible for processing your personal data within the meaning of the GDPR.

II. Which of your data do we process?
We collect and process different categories of personal data:
1. CVs and personal data
a) Application for an advertised position
If you apply for a position advertised by us and send us your CV for this purpose, the following data are stored in our applicant database:
· Your contact information such as your name, your address, telephone number and e-mail address,
· Description of your work experience, skills and education;
· You also have the possibility to add further electronically stored documents such as cover letter, certificates, application photo, etc. to your application. If you do so, we will also store these data of you in our applicant database.
b) Creating an application profile
If you decide to create an application profile with us and, in this connection, want to apply for a specific position or submit an unsolicited application, you can create your personal CV via the online application form by entering your profile into the predefined dialog masks. In this case, we store electronically in our applicant database all data entered by you. In that database, they are available to HOCHTIEF for retrieval.
Please make sure you do not send us any file attachments infected with viruses or worms. Please also take care not to send us any information of file attachments that include certain types of personal data, in particular information about ethnic origin, political opinion, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, health and sexual orientation.
III. For which purposes do we process your personal data?
We use your personal data exclusively for the purposes set out below. There will be no further processing than that.
a) Application for an advertised position
When you have applied for a particular position, your suitability for this position will be checked. The related preparation serves the purpose of possible initiation of an employment relationship with HOCHTIEF (Sec. 6 (1b) GDPR and Sec. 26 (1) Sentence 1 GDPR new version).
b) Creating an application profile
If you create an application profile with us without reference to a specific job offer, the input and processing of your personal data possibly also serves the purpose of preparing a possible employment relationship. Otherwise, your data are processed for performing the underlying user contract with us via our applicant database (Sec. 6 (1b) GDPR).
IV. Who has access to your data?
The Human Resources Department and the relevant specialized department within the HOCHTIEF Group have access to your CV.
V. How long do we keep your data?
As a general principle, we only keep your documents as long as we need them for achieving the respective processing purpose. The data are deleted within six months after completion of the application process. In case your application is of interest for other positions even after completion of an application process, we will—subject to your approval—continue to store your data in our database and delete them after six months unless you have given us your approval for further storage.
VI. Your rights
Regarding the personal data concerning you, you have the following rights towards us:
(a) The right to information about your data processed by us, including purposes of processing
(b) The right to rectification of inaccurate personal data
(c) The right to erasure of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”)
(d) The right to restriction of processing of your personal data
(e) The right to receive a free copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (“right to data transferability”)
(f) The right to revoke at any time the consent you gave us to process your personal data. This does not affect the legal admissibility of any processing that has been performed based on your consent until this revocation.
(g) The right to file a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us.
Beyond that, you have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you, which is performed by us based on our legitimate interests. We will then no longer process your data unless there are compelling legitimate grounds for processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms or if processing serves to assert, exercise or defend our legal claims.
VII. Notification of changes
In case we change our data protection regulations, these will be displayed on our website so that you can always inform yourself which data we collect, how we use them and if we pass them onto third parties.
